A couple of great Social Media resources that I wanted to share!

Articles written by Meryl Evans shows great examples of how Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn has been used to open up a door of opportunity for businesses.  While I do love Twitter and agree that it is a great PR tool there is still the big question of how it is useful in the B2B community.  Personally, I have found Twitter to be a great news resource to find out when Starbucks is having free pastries or coffee sales but I have also found Twitter to be a great tool to communicate within a “community” to share insights and opinions with others in my industry.  But again, how do we use it successfully in the business world?  My current plan is to use it as a way to build relationships, engage in conversations and try to answer questions that are asked about websites and other technology topics.  The article has “real-life” examples of gaining new clients, hiring new employees, and selling products.

  1. I love Twitter, it is helping me grow my blog with a plethora of readers and comments, which is what every blogger wants. Traffic, comments.

The growing problem I see is all the porn. I know that sounds strange coming from me, but there is plenty of porn on the internet and elsewhere, I don’t like that it is invading Twitter as well. I want useful information and traffic to my blog, not some random chicks naked pictures.
